At the tail end of the golden October, on the 31st, International High School welcomed a special guest—Mandy Lo, a senior leadership trainer from Hong Kong. On this day, a unique and inspiring leadership brainstorming session illuminated the campus like brilliant stars.

活动尚未正式开始,DSE项目樊红军主任以庄重而热忱的姿态,向在场的学生们隆重推介了这位备受尊敬的嘉宾。Mandy导师与她的翻译 Betty老师的携手到来,为同学们悄然开启了一扇通往领导力崭新天地的大门。
Before the event officially began, Director Fan Hongjun of the DSE project introduced the highly respected guest to the students with great solemnity and enthusiasm. The arrival of Mandy and her translator, Betty, quietly opened a door for the students to explore new dimensions of leadership.

活动现场,气氛热烈得如同燃烧的火焰,充满了活力与激情。同学们的目光紧紧追随着台上的 Mandy导师和她的翻译Betty老师,眼神中满是期待与好奇。Mandy导师和 Betty老师就像两位智慧的引路人,从多个奇妙的角度深入探寻领导力的深邃内涵。
“什么是领导力?为何我们如此渴望领导力?”“领导力与自我、与他人、与社区之间,又编织着怎样如诗如画的关系呢?”不同问题随即抛出,一场围绕着“领导力是与生俱来的天赋,还是可以通过后天培养而获得的技能”主题的辩论就此展开。
The atmosphere at the event was as lively as burning flames, filled with energy and passion. The students' eyes were locked onto Mandy and Betty, their gazes filled with anticipation and curiosity. Like wise guides, Mandy and Betty delved into the profound essence of leadership from various fascinating angles. "What is leadership? Why do we yearn for it so much?" "What poetic relationships exist between leadership, oneself, others, and the community?" Different questions were posed, sparking a debate around whether leadership is an innate talent or a skill that can be acquired through training.

学生们在这一过程中表现出了极高的热情,积极参与讨论。他们分成若干小组,各司其职。有的同学负责上台板书关键词,一笔一划间,帮助大家更好地理解讨论内容;有的同学则积极参与到辩论中,为自己的观点据理力争。现场气氛异常热烈,充满了活力与激情。
为了进一步增强学生们的互动,活动中还增设了提问环节。同学们纷纷举手,向 Mandy 导师和 Betty 老师提出自己心中关于领导力的疑惑。有的同学问道:“在日常生活中,我们如何发现自己的领导潜力呢?”有的同学则关心:“如果团队中出现不同意见,作为领导者应该如何协调呢?”Mandy导师和 Betty老师耐心地一一解答,让同学们受益匪浅。接着,又进行了领导力场景模拟。同学们通过角色扮演,模拟各种领导情境,如组织活动、解决冲突等。在这个过程中,大家更加深刻地体会到领导力的实际应用,也学会了如何在不同的情况下发挥自己的领导才能。
Throughout the process, the students showed tremendous enthusiasm, actively participating in discussions. They split into several groups, each with its own role. Some students took responsibility for writing key points on the board, helping everyone better understand the content; others eagerly joined the debate, defending their viewpoints with sound reasoning. To further enhance student interaction, a Q&A session was added. Students raised their hands to ask Mandy and Betty about their doubts regarding leadership. Some asked, "How can we discover our leadership potential in everyday life?" while others were concerned about how to mediate different opinions within a team. Mandy and Betty patiently answered each question, providing valuable insights to the students. Following this, a leadership scenario simulation was conducted. Through role-playing, the students simulated various leadership situations, such as organizing events and resolving conflicts. This exercise deepened their understanding of the practical application of leadership and taught them how to utilize their leadership abilities in different contexts.

In his concluding remarks, Principal Lu Jiajie highly praised Mandy and her team for their hard work and fully acknowledged the active participation of the students. He expressed his hope that the students would apply the leadership knowledge they gained today, demonstrating their abilities within the school to contribute to its further development. He also earnestly anticipated that the students would become pillars of society, making significant contributions to its progress.
