Here at Utahloy International School Zengcheng(UISZ) we value intercultural understanding. We learn about and celebrate cultural celebrations from around the world, including…Halloween. On October 31st, Primary students came to school dressed-up in creative costumes, went on a scavenger hunt around our beautiful campus, and attended a flexi-boarding event. Flexi-boarding parties are very popular here! Primary students spend a night in the boarding house, playing with friends and developing independence. During the Halloween flexi-boarding event, Primary students go trick-or-treating, knocking on the doors of their teachers and saying, “trick or treat!” We are a community that learns together and celebrates together.

在UISZ，我们重视跨文化理解。我们了解和庆祝来自世界各地的文化庆祝活动，包括万圣节。10月31日，小学生们穿着“奇装异服”来到学校，在美丽的校园里进行了寻宝游戏，并参加了灵活寄宿项目。灵活寄宿项目派对在这里很受欢迎！小学生们在寄宿公寓过夜，和朋友们一起玩耍，培养独立性。在万圣节的灵活寄宿项目活动中，小学生们会玩“不给糖就捣蛋”的游戏，敲着老师的门说：“不给糖就捣蛋！” 这样一个共同学习与成长、共同庆祝与分享的社区真的非常有爱。

This Halloween, UISZ brought together students, staff, and the entire school community for an unforgettable day of spook-tacular fun and excitement. The event was planned and led by our remarkable senior students as their final leadership project, and it was a grand success thanks to their dedication, creativity, and teamwork. From chilling haunted walks to intricate decorations, our student leaders crafted a Halloween experience that thrilled everyone involved! 

这个万圣节，UISZ将学生、教职员工以及整个社区聚集在一起，度过了非常难忘的一天，充满着“令人毛骨悚然”的乐趣和兴奋。整个万圣节活动由我们出色的高年级学生策划和领导，这也是他们的领导力项目内容，由于他们的奉献精神、创造力和团队合作，活动取得了巨大的成功。从“令人毛骨悚然”的闹鬼走廊设计到错综复杂的节日装饰品的布置，我们的学生领导精心打造了一场让所有参与者都兴奋不已的万圣节体验！ 

For our graduating students, this event was a unique opportunity to showcase their organizational skills, collaborative spirit, and event-planning expertise. With guidance from Dr. Gladys, our Dean of Students, they took on every aspect of planning and managing the event. Each student contributed to a specific role, including overseeing decorations, setting up exciting experiences like the Haunted Walk, coordinating trick-or-treat activities, and even organizing beloved Halloween staples like piñatas and pumpkin carving. 

这一次的学生领导力项目对于我们的毕业生来说，是展示他们的组织能力、协作能力以及活动策划专业知识的绝佳机会。在我们的学生主任Gladys博士的指导下，他们全方位承担了活动的计划与执行。每个学生都有特定的角色并为此做出了努力与成绩，包括检查装饰品、制定令人兴奋的体验方案，如闹鬼走廊、协调不给糖就捣蛋的活动，以及组织应景的万圣节大餐，如皮纳塔和雕刻南瓜。 

Their incredible effort turned the event into a memorable experience for the entire UISZ community, embodying the values of responsibility, creativity, and leadership we aim to foster in all our students. 

通过他们不凡的努力，这次活动已然成为整个UISZ社区难忘的经历之一，同时孩子们也全面地展现出责任感、创造力和领导力的价值观。 

While our students took the lead, none of this would have been possible without the steadfast support of our dedicated UISZ staff and administrative departments.  

This Halloween celebration was a testament to UISZ’s spirit of unity and collaboration. Every department’s contribution helped to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where our students could shine and demonstrate their leadership in action. 

除了我们的优秀学生们，我们还有一群可爱又敬业的UISZ工作人员，他们的支持也是确保这场活动能顺利完成的关键因素之一。这次万圣节庆祝活动也证明UISZ的团结协作能力。每个部门的贡献都有助于创造一个温暖、热情和安全的社区环境，让我们的学生可以在这里大放异彩，并在行动中展示他们的领导力。 

UISZ Halloween events are always a highlight, but this year’s celebration will be remembered as one of the best yet, thanks to our students and the incredible teamwork across departments. It was a day that brought laughter, creativity, and school spirit to new heights, fostering memories that our students will cherish long after they graduate. This event also demonstrated the unique learning environment at UISZ, where students are encouraged to lead, innovate, and build strong community bonds. 

万圣节活动一直是UISZ的一大亮点，但今年的庆祝活动将被铭记为迄今为止最好的庆祝活动之一，这要归功于我们的学生和所有跨部门合作的团队。这一天，将欢笑、创造力和学校风貌都带到了一个新的高度，并且这一份美好的回忆会让我们的学生在毕业后很长一段时间内都会珍惜。此外，此次活动还展示了UISZ独特的学习环境，我们鼓励学生领导、创新并建立与其牢固的社区纽带。
