As an international school that welcomes students and families from diverse nationalities, BIS has always embraced a spirit of inclusivity towards cultures from around the world.
As our mission states:
To inspire, support, and nurture our multi-cultural students to receive a creative education and to develop them to be global citizens.
Today, BIS celebrated Halloween, a day of cultural fusion.
For our students, Halloween is an exciting time for dressing up. As they arrived at school in the morning, the students kicked off a Halloween costume parade, and the teachers also dressed up in their favorite characters to match the festive spirit.

Candy is, of course, an essential part of Halloween! In the morning, children from kindergarten and primary school visited the trick-or-treat stations to collect candy from teachers and staff, and some classes even held a ceremonial "feast" afterwards.

Naturally, when our esteemed Principal Mr. Mark made an appearance, the children flocked around him.
In the secondary school, three students took on the role of candy ambassadors, visiting lower and upper secondary school classes to distribute candy to the older students. Who says only little kids enjoy the festive atmosphere? The ambassadors brought a moment of relaxation to the older students.
Meanwhile, a party on the second floor of the school was quietly underway.
With the help of our Ms. Kymberle and our beloved parent committee, the Year 2 Lions class transformed into a Halloween makeup room, where quick and simple makeup applications excited the children.
Halloween night should also have music! Primary school students danced and jumped with boundless energy on the joyful disco dance floor.
The joy brought by the festival is self-evident, and we are committed to conducting activities in a fun and safe manner. These activities are crucial for the healthy growth of the children and the building of an inclusive campus culture.
Once again, we wish you all a happy Halloween night! May you have light and hope!
