UOI 探究单元
Throughout the duration of this UOI, the students engaged with the central idea that understanding oneself is a stimulus for progress, enabling them to navigate the complexities of learning and growth more effectively. Their investigations were structured around three key lines of inquiry. Firstly, they delved into the concept that a secure and supportive environment is fundamental for optimal learning and personal development. By exploring the dynamics of their surroundings, they gained a deeper appreciation for the link between their environment and their individual growth.

Secondly, the students explored the difficult relationship between the brain and the body, recognising the pivotal role that the brain plays in regulating emotions, behaviors, and overall well-being. Through age-appropriate activities and discussions, they grasped the significance of caring for both their physical health and mental faculties, fostering a general approach to self-care.
其次,学生们探索了大脑和身体之间的关系。他们认识到大脑在调节情绪、行为和整体健康方面发挥的关键作用。通过一系列的活动和讨论,他们了解并掌握了如何关爱自身身心健康。

Lastly, the students were introduced to a collection of strategies designed to help them tackle challenges with confidence and resilience. By experimenting with different problem-solving techniques, seeking guidance from their teachers, and reflecting on their own experiences, they perfected their ability to confront obstacles with a positive mindset and a proactive attitude.

By delving into these lines of inquiry and engaging in experiential learning activities, the Year 1 students not only deepened their understanding of themselves but also cultivated essential skills and attitudes that will serve them well in their ongoing educational journey. Through this reflective and interactive process, they not only learned how to care for their bodies and minds but also discovered the transformative power of self-awareness in fostering personal growth and well-being.
