ASJ学子探索东莞科技魅力
Last weekend, students from ASJ (Dongguan) Secondary Department were privileged to participate in a specially planned science exploration event by Dongguan City—the 2024 "Illuminate the Future" Inter-regional Primary and Secondary School Science Study Camp. This event united teachers and students from 11 regions across the country to explore Dongguan's technological development and share a wealth of scientific educational resources.
上周末,东莞ASJ中学部的同学们有幸参加了由东莞市特别策划的科技探索活动——2024年“点亮未来”跨地区中小学科普研学营。这一活动汇集了来自全国11个地区的师生,目的是共同探索东莞的科技魅力、共享丰富的科学教育资源。
Our students deepened their understanding of Dongguan's high-level scientific and technological achievements through observation, hands-on experience and visiting exhibitions. They witnessed scientific demonstrations, including programmed robots, drone formations, and aerobatic flight performances, and engaged in technology projects, such as 3D printing, laser engraving, aerospace, maritime and vehicular technology. These fascinating scientific experiments, workshops and exploration games fully immersed the students in the wonderful world of Science.
同学们通过观摩、体验和游园等多种形式,深入了解了东莞中小学生的高水平科创成果。他们观看了编程机器人、无人机编队和特技飞行表演等科学展示,体验了3D打印、激光雕刻、航空航天航海及车辆等科技项目。丰富多样的科学实验、趣味横生的科学工作坊和充满挑战的科学探索游戏,让同学们沉浸在科学的奇妙世界中。
In the "Science Class Together" session, students used microscopes to explore the microscopic world, marvel at the mysteries of life, and gain a new perspective on observing the world.
在“共上科学课”环节,同学们利用显微镜探索微观世界,领略生命的奥秘,开启了全新的观察世界视角。
In the "Inheritance of Vegetable Dyeing" workshop, students learned the techniques of vegetable dyeing and personally created unique vegetable-dyed works. This hands-on experience allowed them to understand the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity and realise the importance of green technology.
在“传承草木染”课堂,同学们学习了草木染技法,并亲自动手创作了独一无二的草木染作品。这种亲身体验不仅让他们更好地理解了传统与现代的和谐共生,也感受到了绿色科技的无限魅力。
A visit to the Songshan Lake Material Laboratory and the Chinese Spallation Neutron Source was a highlight of this science camp. Students had an opportunity to discover material science, experience cutting-edge innovative achievements up close, and immerse themselves in this scientific feast.
探访松山湖材料实验室和中国散列中子源是本次科学营的一大亮点。同学们有机会踏入材料科学的殿堂,近距离感受前沿创新成果的魅力,沉浸在这场科技盛宴中。
Through this science camp, teachers and students from different places not only enhanced cross-regional cultural exchanges, but also stimulated the interest and curiosity of young students in science through interaction, laying a solid foundation for cultivating future scientific and technological innovation talents.
通过此次研学营,各地师生们不仅增进了跨地域的文化交流与合作,还在互动中激发了青少年对科学的兴趣和好奇心,为培养未来的科技创新人才奠定了坚实的基础。
