In the golden autumn of October, students from Fettes College Guangzhou embarked on a study tour to Fettes College in the UK. Immersed in life at this top-tier institution, they explored, spent time with local families, and engaged in cultural visits.

当同学们踏入这座哥特式风格的古老教学楼时，同学们的目光很快被一面巨大的墙壁吸引，那上面挂满了百余年历届毕业生的合影，每一张照片都记录着不同年代学子们的记忆。而另一面师生荣誉墙每一个名字都闪耀着金色的光芒，代表着费得斯公学的卓越成绩。Edison心中不禁涌起一股敬意，他想象着那些名字背后，一个个鲜活的灵魂如何在这里学习、生活、成长。Edison同学感慨道，"亲眼见证，震撼人心。"

As the students entered the Gothic-style historic building, they were quickly captivated by a massive wall adorned with photographs of graduates from over the past century, each image capturing the memories of different eras. Opposite, a wall of honour displayed names that gleamed with golden light, representing Fettes College's outstanding achievements. Edison felt a surge of respect, imagining the vibrant souls behind those names who had learned, lived, and grown here. He remarked, "Witnessing this firsthand is truly inspiring."

置身于古老音乐厅内，斐特思学子与同学们一起吟唱古典音乐。“悠扬”、“悦耳”是同学们的共同感受。在当地同伴的带领下，他们根据自己的兴趣选择了法语课、化学课、拉丁语课等专业课程学习。热爱音乐的同学们还欣赏了极具英伦风情的风笛乐队表演，参与学院歌唱比赛，与英国学生一起展现自己的才华。

Within the ancient music hall, the FCG students joined their peers in singing classical music. "Melodious" and "pleasant" were the sentiments shared by all. Guided by local companions, they chose courses in French, Chemistry, Latin, and more according to their interests. Music enthusiasts enjoyed a traditional British bagpipe performance and participated in a singing competition, showcasing their talents alongside British students.

"The expansive campus, profound history, and rich cultural blend left a deep impression on me. I had unforgettable moments with friends from diverse cultures and backgrounds."

体育竞技同样令人印象深刻，“这里的课程采用的是比赛模式，我必须连连战胜那些强劲的对手，同时不断地调整战术，才能确保自己不被淘汰出局。”

同学们纷纷投身于美式橄榄球、手球等体育活动中。自信、团队协作的力量，以及在挑战中一次次超越自我的坚韧，都是他们在这场场激烈比拼中深切体会到的。

The sports activities were equally impressive. "The courses here adopt a competitive format, and I must continually overcome strong opponents while adjusting my tactics to avoid elimination." Students eagerly engaged in American football, handball, and other sports. The confidence, teamwork, and resilience developed through these intense competitions were profound experiences for them.

Gary用那块细小的打火石，一次次地敲击，几点明亮的火花射出，瞬间引燃了周围的枯叶。同学们眼疾手快，添上几根细小的枯树枝，小心翼翼地呵护着这来之不易的火苗。火势逐渐稳定下来，同学们兴奋地欢呼起来，开始了“野外烹饪”。Gary心中充满了成就感。他笑着对大家说：“这是我第一节野外生存技能学习，今天又掌握了一个小技能，真是太开心了！”

In a campfire making activity, Gary struck a small flint repeatedly, producing bright sparks that ignited nearby dry leaves. Quickly reacting, the students added small twigs, carefully nurturing the precious flame. As the fire stabilized, excitement filled the air, and they began their "outdoor cooking." Filled with a sense of achievement, Gary smiled and said, "This is my first lesson in wilderness survival skills, and I've learned a new skill today. I'm so happy!"

在寄宿家庭里，他们与小伙伴们互相教授中英文，还一同参加了周末的城市越野赛。他们相谈甚欢，朝夕相处，成为了这个家庭中不可或缺的一份子。

"I brought a Yixing teapot as a gift to introduce them to our Chinese tea culture!" The FCG students presented carefully prepared gifts to their host families.

"My buddy Layla had previously exchanged visits with FCG. Her mother's French cooking is delicious!"

In their host homes, they exchanged language skills in Chinese and English and participated in a weekend urban orientation event, bonding as integrated family members.

Teacher Jerry stated, "This study experience was meaningful for the students, offering enlightening education in independent living abroad and interaction with people from diverse cultural backgrounds."

The students visited the historic Edinburgh Castle, listening to tales steeped in time; while in bustling London, they gazed up at the magnificent Big Ben, experiencing the unique charm of its architecture. Additionally, they toured the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace.

"This is my first time stepping out of the country and experiencing the wonders of foreign cultures; it's truly amazing."
