In this era of opportunities and challenges, technological innovation is reshaping our world at an unprecedented rate. Tianjin Farragut School, as a leader in education, has always been committed to cultivating young leaders with a global perspective and innovative spirit. Therefore, we launch Next-Gen, a series of lectures aimed at leading students to explore the frontiers of science and technology and unveil the prelude to the future of time and space.

“Next-Gen”一词，蕴含着双重深意。它不仅象征着在全球化浪潮中不断涌现的下一代尖端领域，也代表着那些即将踏入世界舞台的下一代学生听众。此外，这个名字还蕴含了法拉古特对这些青年成长为下一代精英领袖的殷切期望。
The term ‘Next-Gen’ carries a double meaning. It not only symbolises the next generation of cutting-edge fields that are emerging in the wave of globalisation, but also represents the next generation of student audience who are about to step onto the world stage. In addition, the name carries Farragut's high expectations for these young people to grow into the next generation of elite leaders.

此系列讲座将涵盖人工智能、低空经济、生物医疗等多个前沿科技领域，每一期讲座都将邀请该领域的领军人物，分享他们的见解和经验，探讨科技如何塑造我们的世界，以及我们如何准备迎接未来的挑战。
This lecture series will cover a number of cutting-edge technology areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Low Altitude Economy, Biomedicine, etc. Each lecture will feature a leading figure in the field who will share their insights and experiences on how technology is shaping our world and how we can prepare to meet the challenges of the future.
我们希望，这个系列讲座可以为学生们提供一个平台，让他们能够与各领域的专家面对面交流，更深入地理解科技的力量，更清晰地看到未来的轮廓。通过激发他们对未来科技的好奇心和探索欲，为成长之路注入新的活力。
We hope that this lecture series will provide a platform for students to meet face-to-face with experts in their fields, to gain a deeper understanding of the power of technology and to see more clearly the contours of the future. By stimulating their curiosity and desire to explore the future of science and technology, they will be able to inject new vigour into their growth path.

主讲人介绍
Next-Gen“未来序”系列的首场讲座，我们荣幸邀请到了低空经济领域的专家王智先生。王智先生，本科就读于南京大学，研究生就读于香港中文大学。目前担任低空经济资源网总编辑，同时也是南京大学天津校友会理事、中国交通运输协会交通运输信创实验室专家及低空经济专委会执委，拥有深厚的学术与专业背景。
For the first lecture of Next-Gen's series, we were honoured to invite Wang Zhi, an expert in the field of low altitude economy. Wang Zhi is an undergraduate of Nanjing University and a postgraduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Low Altitude Economic Resource Network, and is also the director of Tianjin Alumni Association of Nanjing University, an expert of China Communications and Transportation of Association's Transportation Innovation Laboratory, and an executive committee member of Low Altitude Economy Specialised Committee, with a profound academic and professional background.

Wang Zhi will lead us to unravel the mystery of low altitude economy with the theme of ‘Low-Altitude Flying Aircraft and Application Scenarios’. Under his guidance, we will examine the development trend of low-altitude flying aircraft, analyse the technical challenges, and explore its potential applications in many key areas such as logistics, agriculture and rescue. This will be an exciting collision and an in-depth dialogue of industry knowledge, as well as a deep reflection on the infinite possibilities of the future.
