Rising Stars Collective: Uniting Creativity and Community through Theater

The Rising Stars Collective is a pioneering theater project initiated as an exploratory journey to mark the inauguration of SAIS Bao’an new campus.

Bringing together both new and familiar faces of SAIS on a collaborative stage, the project serves as a platform for students to explore their creative potentials in a supportive environment.

Participants can engage in various roles, such as scriptwriters and performers, choreographers and dancers, costume and makeup designers, set and props designers, musicians, stagehands, and even marketers and business development leaders. This diverse array of opportunities encourages students to delve into their interests while cultivating essential skills.

One of the most significant aspects of this project is its emphasis on self-expression. Theater is a powerful medium that allows individuals to convey their thoughts, emotions, and stories. Through their participation, students will have the chance to get to know themselves better by engaging in various forms of self-expression, fostering confidence and personal growth. This journey of self-discovery encourages students to embrace their uniqueness and share their voices with the world.

The students in the marketing group collaborated with a designer to create the first promotional poster for this project, which will be launched alongside this article.
