香港东华学院升学资讯宣讲会
佛山暨大港澳子弟学校自创校以来与香港教育界保持紧密合作,致力于为学生提供更多元化的教育资源和更广阔的发展空间。
为进一步落实“校长推荐计划”,5月24日,香港东华学院护理学院院长孙桂萍教授、人文学院院长陈自强教授、管理学院院长张子颖教授、内地及国际事务高级经理冼志恩女士莅临我校开展升学宣讲会及座谈交流,为学生提供宝贵的升学指导和资源。
座谈会上,张晔校长对香港东华学院一行的到访表示热烈的欢迎和诚挚的感谢。双方代表就师生交流、访校学习、课程体验等展开了深入探讨。
得益于“校长推荐计划”的签订,佛山ASJ不仅可以享有香港东华学院的升学优惠,同时也通过密切的教育交流为学生的成长和发展提供支持。香港东华学院亦提出邀请佛山ASJ学子到学校进行大学课程体验,深入了解专业特色与优势,为学生未来的升学规划提供帮助。
随后,香港东华学院为高中部学子开展了升学资讯讲座,让学生对学校的专业设置和办学特色有了更为清晰的认识。
香港东华学院由香港最大规模及最具经验的慈善机构—东华三院于2010年成立,学校由四所学院组成,包括人文学院、管理学院、医疗及健康科学学院和护理学院。
人文学院院长陈自强教授首先为大家介绍了香港东华学院的办学概况,并分享了人文学院的学科设置以及课程特色。人文学院提供多个学士学位课程,包括幼儿教育(荣誉)教育学士、应用老年学(荣誉)理学士、应用心理学(荣誉)社会科学学士等,这些课程旨在培养学生在各自领域的专业知识和实践能力,同时通过国际研学、课外交流和义务工作等促进学生的全面发展,培养具有创新精神、人文素养和社会责任感的学生。
管理学院院长张子颖教授表示,管理学院提供了多个与管理和商业相关的学位课程,包括社商企业持持续发展(荣誉)管理学学士、医疗资讯及服务管理学士,在理论与实践相结合的教学环境下,毕业生将具备在各种商业和管理领域工作的能力,并在全球化的商业环境中发挥领导作用。
护理学院院长孙桂萍教授指出,香港东华学院在医疗、护理方面有着显著的成就。护理学院开设护理学(荣誉)健康科学学士、护理学高级文凭等学科,为学生提供专业技能培训,帮助他们在护理领域取得专业资格。医疗及健康科学学院亦提供多种医疗和健康科学领域的专业,以满足医疗保健行业的需求。学院还与多家医院、医疗机构建立了合作关系,为学生提供实习和实践机会,帮助学生将所学知识应用于实际工作中。
最后,国际事务高级经理冼志恩女士详细讲解了香港东华学院的入学要求、招生政策以及校长推荐计划,为在座学生提供了宝贵的参考。

TWC Admission Talk
ASJ-Foshan has maintained close cooperation with the education sector in Hong Kong since its establishment, and is committed to providing students with more diversified educational resources and broader space for development.
On May 24, Prof. Lorna Kwai Ping SUEN, Dean of School of Nursing, Prof. Alex Chi Keung CHAN, Dean of School of Arts and Humanities, Prof. Albert TEO, Dean of School of Management, and Ms. Lavinia Sin, Mainland and International Engagement Senior Manager of the Tung Wah College, came to our school to held an admission talk, and to provide students with invaluable guidance and resources for their college entrance.
At the symposium, principal Zhang expressed her warm welcome and sincere thanks to the delegation of Tung Wah College for their visit. Representatives from both sides had an in-depth discussion on the exchange of teachers and students, school visit and study, and course experience.
According to the signing of the "Principal's Recommendation Scheme", ASJers not only benefits from the preferential treatment by TWC, but also supports the growth and development of students through educational exchanges. students are also invited to the school for a university course experience to gain a deeper understanding of the characteristics and advantages of their majors, which will help them to plan for their college entrance in the future.
Afterwards, the Tung Wah College held an admission talk on college entrance for the students of Senior Secondary Section.
Established in 2010 by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the largest and most experienced charitable organization in Hong Kong, Tung Wah College consists of four faculties: School of Arts and Humanities, School of Management, school of Medical and Health Sciences, School of Nursing.
Prof. Chan, firstly introduced an overview of Tung Wah College and shared the subject offerings as well as program features of the School of Arts and Humanities. These programs aim to cultivate students' professional knowledge and practical skills in their respective fields, and to cultivate students with a spirit of creativity, humanistic qualities and a sense of social responsibility.
Prof. Albert said the school of Management offers a number of degree programs related to management and business, and graduates will be equipped to work in a variety of business and management fields in a teaching environment that combines theory and practice.
Prof. Lorna, pointed out that the School of Nursing provides students with specialized skills training to help them achieve professional qualifications in the nursing field. The School of Medical and Health Sciences also offers a wide range of specializations to meet the needs of the healthcare industry. The School has also established partnerships with a number of hospitals and healthcare organizations to provide internships and practicum opportunities for students.
Finally, Ms. Lavinia, explained in detail the admission requirements and the Principal's Recommendation Scheme of the Tung Wah College in Hong Kong, which provided valuable references for students.
This admission talk on college entrance provides an important platform for ASJers to learn more about Hong Kong's colleges and universities, and gain insights into the latest trends in major development.
