MIS students stand out among competitors due to our in-depth cultivation of mathematical thinking and interest. We value basic mathematics teaching and ignite students' passion for math, training their logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through innovative teaching methods and providing rich teaching resources, we have created a diverse mathematical learning environment for students.

The design of MIS's mathematics curriculum aims to unleash students' mathematical potential and nurture their critical thinking and problem-solving skills by expanding their mathematical horizons. The mathematics curriculum actively encourages students to explore the depth and breadth of mathematics and achieve accomplishments in mathematical learning and application, building learning confidence. 

Depending on students' different levels and ages, we design a series of courses and activities, such as mathematical modeling, mathematical games, and mathematics contest clubs, allowing them to experience the charm of mathematics through practical operations. We respect each student's personality and potential. We are committed to guiding them through education to discover and realize their mathematical talents, ensuring they continue to advance in mathematics and fully apply mathematical thinking in life and work.

The core of MIS English teaching is to cultivate students' comprehensive language abilities, including communication, listening, speaking, reading, writing skills, grammar vocabulary, cultural understanding, critical thinking, autonomous learning, technology application, academic English, emotional attitudes, practical application, as well as personalized teaching and effective assessment. These aim to improve students' cross-cultural communication skills, thinking abilities, and lifelong learning capacities.

MIS implements English-level teaching, which respects students' learning interests and helps them build learning confidence. Additionally, MIS offers a variety of English club courses, such as English songs, English dubbing, and English movie appreciation, immersing students in fun learning experiences to develop interest and skills in English.

MIS emphasizes the comprehensive cultivation of English literacy, elevating students' English levels through various activities. For example, the MIS English Spelling Bee, daily English vocabulary speed memorization training, and World Multicultural Day celebrations allow students to experience multiculturalism and stimulate their interest and enthusiasm for learning English. Moreover, students have established study groups—Student Support Union, advocating mutual support and assistance among students.

MIS believes that learning Chinese is not only about language and writing but also involves literature, culture, history, and philosophy, to cultivate students' comprehensive literacy and humanistic spirit. MIS Chinese education focuses on cultivating students' extensive Chinese language ability, humanistic literacy, aesthetic appreciation, and constructing dialectical thinking. Chinese language teaching emphasizes literary appreciation and reading and encourages students to actively participate in public speaking and debate to enhance their confidence in learning Chinese.

The Asian Cup Chinese Debate Championship is a highly anticipated and influential event to enhance students' Chinese expression skills, logical thinking, and team spirit. This event brings together well-known international schools from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The MIS debate club, consisting of students from grades 3-6, as the only team from the southwestern region, has won the national third place twice consecutively.

The MIS Chinese Debate Club allows students to apply knowledge to real-world issues through debate and, through discussion, writing, and group work, students form their unique views during the independent thinking process, honing their logical thinking and communication abilities.
