Accompanied by Vice Principal Yiu Zeon Wai and other leaders of G.T College, the ISA Wenhua High School DSE exchange group visited the campus of G.T College. The ingenious arrangement of educational resources and the efficient utilization of classroom activity venues left a deep impression on everyone.

After fully understanding the school's characteristics of "gifted education, specialized teaching, and comprehensive development of arts and languages" and its educational mission of "training outstanding talents for society," the members of the exchange group expressed their approval, which also deeply resonated with the ISA Wenhua High School's educational values of "respecting differences, promoting diversity, integrating knowledge and action, and achieving harmonious development".

During the welcome session, Dr. Taam Gwok Wai, the principal of G.T College, greeted the visiting members and conducted a special DSE thematic sharing session in a clear and concise manner. He expressed his belief that the ISA Wenhua High School DSE project would surely blaze a new trail in mainland DSE teaching and establish a distinctive DSE brand with its strong teaching strength and rich experience in a short period.

Principal Tang Chunlian of ISA Wenhua High School of Guangzhou, briefly introduced the advantages and strategic planning of the ISA Liwan Wenhua School DSE project to the leaders and teachers of G.T College. She expressed sincere gratitude to Principal Taam and G.T College for their warm reception and thoughtful arrangements.

Following the welcome ceremony, teachers from ISA Wenhua High School's HKDSE exchange group immersed themselves in nine different subject classrooms for on-site observation and learning, gaining valuable insights.

Physics distinguished teacher Mr. Li Peng, while observing students at G.T College conducting hands-on experiments on light paths, remarked that this approach aligned closely with his emphasis on practical learning in his own classroom. He expressed, "Students truly appreciate the charm of light and physics only through firsthand observation and experience."

Senior Chinese history teacher Mr. Yang Zhaohua praised the seamless integration of traditional culture and modern teaching philosophies, enabling students to deepen their appreciation of Chinese history beyond textbooks. Similarly, the classrooms at ISA Wenhua High School also emphasized content derived from textbooks while being flexible and innovative, fully embodying the concept of holistic education.

After witnessing students absorb and consolidate knowledge through interactive teaching methods, Mr. Luo Renbin stated that he too preferred to position himself as a facilitator and guide during classroom activities, providing students with appropriate guidance at critical moments, rather than adhering to the traditional "teacher lectures, students listen" model. 

Following the observation of a civic and social development class, Ms. Chen Zhi noted in her journal, "Guide students to pay more attention to social hot topics and current affairs," recognizing that comprehensive civic knowledge requires daily engagement with local and global issues.

Through this observation activity, the exchange group teachers not only experienced the rich educational practices at G.T College but also deeply appreciated the distinctive teaching characteristics and advantages of the ISA Wenhua High School's DSE program. They hope to genuinely achieve "excellence in oneself" after summarizing and improving, providing students with a more comprehensive and profound learning experience.

The observation activity concluded with a performance by G.T College's student band, who sang the debut song "Guangzhou-Hong Kong is One Family" to the ISA teachers. The lyrics, composed jointly by Principal Taam Gwok Wai and Dr. Zheng Wing Kin.

At the end of the visit, teachers from both schools engaged in one-on-one, face-to-face, in-depth exchangesand learning in various subjects. 

Senior DSE teachers from G.T College shared their valuable teaching and exam preparation experiences with ISA Wenhua High School's frontline teachers, fostering a fruitful exchange of ideas. All teachers felt they had gained significantly from the experience.
