广州市爱莎文华高中与香港优才(杨殷有娣)书院(G.T(Ellen Yeung) College,以下简称“优才书院”)正式签约缔结为友好姊妹学校。
此次姊妹学校缔结拉开了新的一年广州与香港教育界在粤港澳大湾区加速融合背景下进一步深化合作的序幕。广州市爱莎文华高中作为广州市为数不多的国际化特色民办高中,努力为广州教育对外开放十四五规划成果走向新高度添砖加瓦。
优才书院是香港本地一所全日制一条龙的BAND1直资学校,同时开设DSE及IB双轨课程。优才书院近年DSE考试成绩中,87.9%的学生达到了大学录取线(全港平均42.1%),为全港的2.1倍;29.6%的学生的11个科目成绩达到5级(5级为DSE考试级)。优才书院不仅DSE升学成绩亮眼,更是全球的十大IB学校之一。每年都有不少学生升读世界及香港的大学,师生共同享有全球顶配教育资源,是香港一位难求的名校之一。

ISA Wenhua High School of Guangzhou and Hong Kong G.T (Ellen Yeung) College, hereinafter referred to as " G.T College") have officially signed a sister school agreement. This marks the beginning of a new year for deepening collaboration between Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the context of accelerating integration in the Greater Bay Area in the education sector. ISA Wenhua High School, as one of the few international private high schools in Guangzhou, strives to contribute to the new heights of Guangzhou's education openness under the 14th Five-Year Plan.
G.T College is a local full-time BAND1 directly subsidized school in Hong Kong, offering DSE and IB curriculum. In the 9th DSE exam in recent years, 87.9% of students reached the university admission line (Hong Kong average 42.1%), which is 2.1 times the average in Hong Kong; 29.6% of students achieved Level 5 in 11 subjects (Level 5 is the highest level in the DSE exam). It not only has outstanding DSE results, but is also considered one of the most sought-after schools in Hong Kong. Many students are admitted to top universities worldwide and in Hong Kong, it is considered one of the most sought-after schools in Hong Kong.
ISA Liwan and G.T. College are both originate from the IB holistic education curriculum. They concurrently offer diverse courses tailored to meet the varied needs of student populations. In terms of educational philosophy and teaching methods, they share numerous commonalities.
Dr. Tan Kwok-wai, the principal of G.T College, along with several experienced subject senior teachers, visited ISA Wenhua High School to exchange ideas on the Hong Kong education and assessment system, talent development models, teacher collaboration, research, and training plans. This visit laid a solid foundation for future in-depth communication and cooperation between the two schools.
During the tour of the ISA Liwan campus, G.T College team fully understood the school's characteristics of multicultural integration and the values of "respecting differences, diverse integration, integration of knowledge and action, and harmonious development." Dr. Tan and his team highly appreciated and identified with ISA Liwan's holistic education philosophy, as well as admiring the boldness, speed, and ambitious vision of ISA Group's development.
Based on shared educational visions, pedagogical philosophies, school missions, and goals, the management of G.T College decided to establish a sister school relationship with Guangzhou ISA Wenhua High School to help further understand and recognize the development trends of the new era national curriculum. G.T College encourages ISA Liwan to incorporate the essence of the Hong Kong DSE curriculum into its diverse educational system and is willing to provide powerful support in teacher training, curriculum research, educational optimization, student activities, and cultural exchange.

The development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area relies on the support of education, technology, and talents. It is reported that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Sister School Integration Plan, a collaborative effort of the education departments of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao since 2004, has evolved into the largest and most extensive inter-school exchange program in the field of basic education in the Greater Bay Area.
Guangzhou's 14th Five-Year Education Opening-Up Strategy explicitly states the need to strengthen education cooperation with the Hong Kong and Macao regions, jointly cultivating talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills. Among those, the second cohort of fully self-developed graduates from ISA has achieved offers at prestigious UK G5 Super Elite Universities, including the University of Cambridge (ranked 2nd in the world by QS), Imperial College London (ranked 6th), and University College London (ranked 9th). According to available data, ISA has the distinction of being one of the six schools in Guangzhou to secure an acceptance to the University of Cambridge. Additionally, ISA students have also secured offers from the University of Manchester (ranked 32nd) and King's College London (ranked 40th).
This year we have maintained the excellent record of Hong Kong-oriented admissions of our first cohort of ISA graduates. To date, among ISA students who apply to universities in Hong Kong, those whose results are announced have a 100% acceptance rate. This includes offers from the University of Hong Kong (ranked 26th in the world by QS), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (ranked 47th in the world by QS), and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (ranked 60th in the world by QS). Achieving admissions to these top three universities in Hong Kong highlights our students’ outstanding academic performance.
ISA's second cohort of graduates have achieved remarkable results from these university applications. This success in university admissions is a testament to ISA's commitment to providing world-leading international education by leveraging global resources.
