More than 100 potential "business elites" met at Cogdel School Chengdu to experience an engaging and intense "business war." Cogdel School Chengdu is the organizer of the ASDAN Business Competition, which was scheduled to take place in the autumn of 2023 in the Chengdu Competition Division. Recently, the school has drawn a large number of students to participate. Dr. Ahmad Raza and Dr.Paul Allen were invited to serve as judges of this competition.

114 exceptional students from our school and other institutions took part in the competition over the past weekend. To guarantee the event's total success, all school departments worked closely together to set up service teams for volunteers, guest judges, logistics, event planning, and other areas.

The competitors arrived one by one at 8:30 on the first day, and at 9 o'clock in Kangli Auditorium, the business competition officially began. Our school's academic principle, Dr. Henry Skupek, was invited to give a speech. He wished the event a great success and welcomed participants and staff from all schools in the whole country to Cogdel School Chengdu. He also encouraged everyone to engage in cordial conversations, learn from competitors while developing the capacity to strengthen friendships.

Subsequently, the chairman of the business competition organizers Ms. Petek declared that "eliminating poverty" would be the competition's sustainable goal, and the competitors centered their commercial activities around this objective. The auction transaction, financing roadshow, and operation decision are the three main divisions of this competition.

The competitors received instruction on business policies and procedures in the afternoon following a filling lunch and brief intermission. Following the test round, competitors finished the first and second rounds of operation choices before returning to the road show classroom to take part in the intense road show.

After the intense business duel and the third, fourth, and fifth rounds of the operation choice competition, the competition moved into the white-hot competition stage the following morning.

The students learned a lot and felt that time flew by during the brief two-day excursion. All participants expressed that, aside from the amazing aspects of the competition, they were deeply impressed by the sophisticated ambiance of the host school, the vibrant campus with lots of books and delicious food, and the stunning ancient town of Anren.

Cogdel School Chengdu's "activity empowerment, specialty development" is one of its features. In order to foster international talents that integrate Chinese and Western cultures, the school is constantly introducing new educational resources to promote students' growth, give them a variety of platforms for learning, create a never-ending learning community, enhance and challenge students' experiences in competitions, develop their academic and extracurricular skills, and give them as many opportunities to learn and practice as they can.

To provide students a wide range of learning and development opportunities, Cogdel School Chengdu actively introduces international advanced educational concepts and resources against the backdrop of the education system's growing globalization. Cogdel School Chengdu offers a wide range of international competitions for students in addition to business competition activities. More than fifty international competitions covering computer science, business competition (economy), physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and other modules are currently offered by the school. Students who participate in these competitions not only develop their professional skills but also become better equipped to compete internationally.
